Soil erosion is the loss of top fertile layer of soil either by wind or by water.
Growing of different crops in succession on a piece of land to avoid exhausting the soil and to control weeds, pests, and diseases is called crop rotation. This type of farming helps in reducing soil degradation and improves soil quality.
