The guests at Gatsby party seem to see the crash of the car so curious, it was expected to be a reaction of rage or shock and try to help. This shows how little the driver is very drunk and thinks the car is just out of gas. He seems to think that this is nothing really nothing. Nick says that she does this because she does not like to be a disadvantage with other people. Also that she is not an honest person in the way she keeps a cool act, yet there is more to her where she is not such a good person, where she always gets what she wants. Behind a person that does not seem to care about anything, is someone who does care that she gets the best for herself.

Nick thinks he is one of the few honest people he knows because he does not know many honest people. He has a friend that is cheating on his wife. He also has a girl that he s interested in whom he admits is dishonest. he is surrounded by lies so is bound to assume he is one of the few not contributing to the mass. I think he is honest compared to his companions and to a point very truthful. The fact is though that no one is completely honest. Nick like anyone else has his secrets and has told his lies. The difference he hold is that maybe he has less of these or he is just better at hiding them
