Tollens reagent is ammoniacal silver nitrate.
It is also called a silver mirror test reagent.
It is used to detect the aldehyde functional group in a compound. Upon addition into the test tube containing aldehyde, it produces dark grey ppt or a silver mirror-like appearance.
Then N2H4 attacks B, which breaks the outer ring and forms two −CONH2 groups
In a balanced equation , all the moles of different elements remains same hence,
Ba+2HCl→Bacl2+H2
Is a balanced equation as there is one mole of Ba and 2 moles each of hydrogen and chlorine
